What the treehouse is actually like to stay in — room by room, and what is on hand once you are here.
Inside
One level, and a full kitchen.
Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living all sit on a single level. The kitchen is a real one — electric oven, gas cooktop, fridge, coffee machine, and the utensils to cook a proper meal rather than reheat one.
A heat pump handles heating and cooling. The bathroom has a separate bath and shower, and a heated towel rail for coming back in from the deck.
Outside
A deck among the trunks, and a bath in the bush.
French doors open from the lounge onto a deck that runs out between the trees. Below it, a stream you can hear before you see it, and native birdsong that starts early.
Just off the deck, set into the trees, is an outdoor bath. For a good number of guests it is the entire reason they book.
Breakfast
Provided, and made at your own pace.
Breakfast is left for you to prepare whenever you surface. Of everything on the property, the homemade bread is what guests write about most.
No wifi
There is no internet here, on purpose.
No wifi and no television. There are books, board games and puzzles instead, and a bluetooth speaker if you brought your own music.
Mobile coverage across the property is good, so you are contactable if you need to be. Most people find they stop checking.
